Telecom company Airtel has launched its cloud-based communications platform Airtel IQ. The newly launched platform will enable brands to deepen customer engagement through timely and secure communication. The announcement also marks the telco’s entry into the cloud communications market.
Airtel IQ eliminates the need for multiple communication platforms for different channels. For example a customer ordering food through an online platform and calling the delivery agent to find out the status of the order. The entire communication will be encrypted and all mobile/telephone numbers will be masked over Airtel IQ.
Airtel IQ is natively integrated into telco grade infrastructure. It has been fully developed by Airtel’s in-house engineering teams. “Airtel IQ is robust, secure, cost-efficient and intuitive,” the company says.
The Indian cloud communications market is estimated to be worth USD 1 billion. It is witnessing a growth of 20 per cent annually.
