What made the producers decide that they shouldn’t be going to Bhuj?
The film’s producer, Pranjal Khandhdiya, tells ETimes, “It has rained very heavily in Bhuj and its neighbouring areas in the recent past. It has rained so heavily this year out there that the salt pans are still covered with a lot of water and hence we are not going to Bhuj as per our original schedule.”
However, Pranjal informed that he is not cancelling the dates that he has asked from the cast and crew and will utilise them in Pune where actually the second schedule was slated to roll out. “We are now going to Pune in early November and we will go to Bhuj later. So, it’s just that we have swapped the schedules. We can’t skip Bhuj because a large part of the film is set there.”
‘Rashmi Rocket’ will be directed by Akarsh Khurana and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand and Pranjal Khandhdiya. Sometime back, Taapsee had taken to social media to share the news that the film will go on floors in November. “Getting back on track, one lap at a time! #RashmiRocket to start shooting this November. #FridaysWithRSVP.” She hadn’t mentioned Bhuj, but Bhuj it was. Over to Pune, Taapsee!
