The first glimpse of the desi PUBG Mobile rival game called FAU-G has been released. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar tweeted a short video of what appears to be an in-game campaign depicting the clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Galwan valley earlier this year. But there’s no official word yet as to when the game will actually be available.
For those unaware, FAU-G is an upcoming Indian mobile game based on heroics of the Indian armed forces. It was first released in September soon after the Indian government banned PUBG Mobile– one of the most popular smartphone games. FAU-G, stands for Fearless And United-Guards, the game will be made by Bengaluru-based mobile game publisher nCORE Games and backed by Goqii CEO Vishal Gondal and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.

The game is expected to launch on both Android and iOS and similar to other games, this one will also be free to play with in-app purchases. The developer, nCORE Games, claims to be a partner of Rovio on its website but nothing much is known about games made by them.
While very little is known about the gameplay, FAU-G will be a first person shooter game and may be made similar to PUBG Mobile. Different modes and campaigns are expected to be its USP. However, there may not be a battle royale mode in FAU-G to begin with. The developers are expected to add it later. As for the availability, reports suggest that the game may come to Google Play and App Store in November.
