Samsung started testing One UI 3.0 beta based on Android 11 for Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 series smartphones earlier this month in a few regions. Now, the company is expanding the beta program in more markets including India for Galaxy S20 series smartphones.
Samsung’s One UI 3.0 beta program is now live in India and Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra users can now enrol into the beta program. Samsung has confirmed this via its official forums. The forum clearly mentions that One UI 3.0 Android 11 beta registrations are now live in India and users with compatible devices can register and download the software update on their device.
To register for the beta program, users will require tap on One UI beta banner on the top of Samsung Members app. As soon as the registration process is over, users are likely to receive an OTA update notification with beta firmware version G98xFXXU5ZTJF.
For those unaware, One UI 3.0 is the latest version of Samsung’s custom user interface based on Android 11 operating system and it brings all the new Android 11 features to Samsung Galaxy devices such as a dedicated section for chats in the notification panel, improvements to Samsung Internet, home screen, lock screen and contacts app.
In addition to this One UI 3.0 will also bring some changes and optimisations to camera performance, improvements to wireless Dex mode and more.
