The Chairman of the Board, Dr. D P Jaroli, said that the high level syllabus committee constituted by the board prepared a format for summarization in the syllabus and made it available to the subject experts so that symmetry in syllabus was maintained.
The revised syllabus has special emphasis on knowledge of the basic concept of subjects. The syllabus committee and various subject committees also kept in view the methodology adopted by CBSC while reducing the syllabus of the classes in which the syllabus of CBSC is applicable.
He told that instructions were given to the course committee and subject committees not to remove such subject matter in the syllabus which expresses the original concept in that chapter.
NTSE Exam on December 13
He informed that on December 13, Rajasthan Board is going to conduct National Talent Search Examination in the state as per the guide line of National Council of Educational Research and Training. This examination will be based on the entire last year class 9 syllabus of Rajasthan board and this year’s revised syllabus of class 10.
In this ongoing academic session, students studying in class 10 will be able to apply through the school.
A high level syllabus committee was formed to cut the syllabus at the level of Board President in which Dr. Munna Lal Agarwal, Principal, Government Prithviraj Chauhan College Ajmer, Dr. Madan Lori, Retired Associate Professor Rajasthan University, Jaipur, Dr. Shailendra Gupta, Associate Professor Rajasthan University, Jaipur, Dr. Sunita Pachori, Assistant Director of College Education and Professor Neeraj Bhargava, Maharishi Dayanand University is the nominated member.
